316L stainless steel pipe fittings are the second important products and material in the market after stainless steel 304. Particularly higher corrosion resistance in chloride environments. It’s welding and forming characteristics are really good which plays a huge role in shaping it into any form. This material is commonly used in furnace parts, jet engine parts, construction of exhaust manifolds, pump and valve parts, photographic and pharmaceutical equipment, evaporators and tanks as well as chemical processing equipment. Stainless steel 316 pipe fittings consist of high level of heat resistance properties which makes it more durable in high temperature environments as well as in the chemical processes which requires higher amount of heat compared to others. Mainly used for channelizing high acids and similar chemicals through pipes. This material can also be used for cookware, cutlery, surgical instruments, paper mills, water treatment, vehicles, construction materials in large buildings, chemical plants, storage tanks also in tankers which are used for food products.
316H stainless steel pipe fittings are made from the material which is also known as A4 stainless steel commonly. Stainless steel 316L pipe fittings contains low carbon properties and are also resistant to sensitization. Stainless steel 316L pipe fittings are structured for high level of toughness and this material is commonly used in medical devices, waste water treatment, petrochemical industries, food processing, applications in urban areas and also near seashore. Stainless steel 316L is also considered as marine grade stainless steel and stainless steel 316L pipe fittings are the most preferable for ships. The letter L in stainless steel 316L stands for low carbon. Other than these it’s also applicable in equipment which are used for dyes, oxalic acids, fertilizers etc.
316Ti stainless steel pipe fittings are higher carbon variants. Stainless steel 316h pipe fittings can be used at higher temperatures and stainless steel 316Ti pipe fittings are stabilized grade of stainless steel.
